Weekend, Where Are You?
WHERE DID THE WEEKEND GO???
Please let me know if anyone has seen it. Thanks.
Don’t you agree with me that the weekend flew by in approximately 4985,3 seconds? Sigh. I can’t believe that it’s already Monday! How depressing!
Anyway, here’s a little recap:
SATURDAY
-Right after writing my last post I went straight back to bed and slept until 12 AM. Fab!
-We eventually got up and made banana pancakes (recipe by ED&BV). Took a pic but my camera ate it.
-Went to the city and shopped at the sports store (protein powder and shaker!), book store (books! Surprise!) and groceries’ store (tea).
-Got back home to Silvio’s casa and snapped the following picture (of the books that I bough):
-Got watched by his roommate while taking that photo and his eyes clearly questioned my sanity. I mean, come on! Who takes photos of books? Silly.
-Read a bit and then headed outside to get on the train.
-Go to my aunt and uncle’s birthday party at the restaurant. Eat my weight in focaccia.
-Take the 11:47 PM train back to Bern.
-Skip Selina’s boyfriend’s party and go to bed instead.
(No run because I realized that I haven’t taken a day off and really needed some rest)
SUNDAY
-Breakfast
-Go to the 12 AM bodypump class. Realize that it’s a bit silly.
-Get back home at 2 PM and eat lunch (tagliatelle with pesto, spinach and mozzarella):

-Make a batch of hemp-nola for my dad.
-Watch 24 and read a bit.
-Go to my parent’s place for dinner.

-Go back home. Watch more 24 with the BF and crash.
Now, wasn’t that super eventful?
It was a good weekend though. Very relaxing and lovely and I got to spend it with my boyfriend whom I didn’t see the past week because he was busy being a student and doing students stuff.
On a downside.. I hurt my back in bodypump yesterday. Those squats with weights were super bad. I listened to the instructor and put more weight on it which probably wasn’t the smartest idea. I did keep my core activated so I am pretty sure that the weight was just too heavy for me.
Maybe I should just stick to breakdance yoga
.

Oh no! Hope your back feels better! Take it easy!
Yummy eats! I can’t believe it’s Monday either!
Those look like good reads! That yoga school dropout one looks cute! So sorry you hurt your back– I used to take body pump classes, and I always was so tempted to try to lift more than I knew I should (or could). It’s hard when you’re in that class mentality!
It sounds like you had a great weekend! Mine was filled with letter-writing. I still have a billion letters to write, but I’m getting there so I’m proud of myself.
And I’m so sorry about your back. I hope you get better. I suppose that means Silvio will have to take good care of yourself.
Oh, and the tagliatelles look soooo tasty. Could you ask your parents to make a second Karin and send her my way?
weekend was just total weekend warrior workout status. then again, i wrkout a lot, so it was pretty chill.
dude, why couldn’t you have been there! (re: pedro spinning). i was too busy trying to see straight. i needed you to smack/drop kick him!
and yes, studying for 5 hours?! please tell me you do better date things!
ohh sorry about the body pump class, it is SUPEr important to listen to your body in classes liek this. One reason I dont like them (as a trainer) is that everyone has these heavy bars doing lots of moves and there is ONE instructor who cannot see if everyone has proper form…just be careful! LOVE YOUR EATS! omg the pics are fantastic!
Currently drooling over your runny eggs and jam smothered bread. You take the “juiciest” pictures. I love food porn. I also love your blog. Thanks for all the comments.
Enjoy your Monday.. Wait, is that even possible?
you will love Yoga School Dropout – it is excellent ^o^
The new season of 24 started here last night !! We have recorded it… hopefully will watch it this evening xx
mmmm i love your egg photo. i agree, the weekend was WAYYYY to damn quick. let it be friday!
This post was so cute! Eating your weight in focaccia! Hehe
I’m like the one person on earth that doesn’t care for the stuff but my hubby inhales it by the loaf!
Sounds like you had a great weekend! 24 looks like it’s going to be good this season!!
the weekend ALWAYS flyies by..it is crazy! that pasta dish looks so deliciousss
Ohmigosh! That is a rockin’ dinner! So much fun!
Yo, did anyone ever tell you you look like Maggie Gyllenhaal?
