Juice It Baby!

It’s been approximately 23489273 years since I’ve last had a homemade juice and today I decided to make one for breakfast no. 1. I should make more juices because they’re so good for you and pretty easy to make.

I used one apple, some spinach, one bell pepper + cucumber

Red & green juice anyone?

So good and made me feel better in an instant! I was already running late and made some tea for the road (or better: the tram ride and the walk to the office).

Do you know that I always hated goat cheese? Well I really try to like all foods (ok maybe except for meat) and so I’ve eaten lots of goat cheese…. And I really like it now :) However, I’ve never tried goat milk yogurt before and gave it a go for today’s breakfast at work. I honestly thought it would be awful but it was surprisingly good!

I had it with muesli and a banaaaana.

Yesterday night I had to work until 7pm and got home feeling kind of grumpy. Work was ok but I just wanted to eat something & shut my awful headache up. And then I saw this when I got back home:

My sister made dinner! Sushi, miso soup, grapes and brie. Best sister ever.

I had some dessert afterwards.

Balls and bananas. Muhahahaha.

The snow is sadly gone but it’s still pretty cold over here so I was really craving something warm for lunch yesterday. Comfort food called my name and I had some (organic) ravioli, chickpeas and cherry tomatoes.

Today I had to get back to my usual comfort-salad mess. Nothing beats my lunchtime salads (ok maybe breakfast.. or a good dinner.. ;) )

I’ve also been eating tons of soy sauce almonds, I honestly can’t get enough of them. You really have to try them, they’re absolutely fabulous and even better than chips :) .

I just had dinner and will go to the 8:15pm – 9:15 pilates class soon. I always eat dinner before that class (even though it’s not super comfortable) as I really hate eating dinner at 10pm-ish.

I had some frozen veggies that I wanted to use and decided to make an omelette with blood ketchup. Good stuff (love the crazy veggie action here!)

I also had some llow fat curd cheese drizzled with maple syrup and topped with almonds. Fabulous combo!

I’ve got to run now. I’m not sure if / when I’d be able to post tomorrow due to the exam and the fact that I’ll maybe go to Silvio’s place afterwards but I have some exam-worthy eats planned :) .

Hope you had a fabulous day!

Question: Are you nervous before/during exams?
Well just a little bit. I’m probably nervous for the first 5 minutes but I haven’t had an exam in a year (last time I took a Japanese exam for fun, hehe). I’m not very worried about tomorrow’s exam though. On the other hand, if it were a maths exam.. but I’m glad that it isn’t ;) .

good luck in your exam… you will be great I am sure
I <3 goats cheese – it is the best but I haven't tried goats yoghurt yet….
hee hee Sel is the best….. you are so lucky…. xxx

First comment! (Whoohoo, I see that as an achievement yes :P )

I used to be addicted to cheese – any kind of cheese, goat cheese included, so I cannot fathom the concept of someone not liking it, hahah.

Go juice some more girl! It’s awesome :D I’ve been doing it lately too. I’m currently pushing about half a kilo of greens per session!

I used to be really nervouse before/during exams, but I kind of stopped doing that since about a year. I took a ‘que sera, sera’ approach to it and my grades haven’t let me down, so I guess being relaxed helpful :)
    xx

Your sister’s dinner looks amazing! How nice of her to make such a great spread!

  4. Karla says:

I don’t get nervous during exams or right before but I think I just tell myself that I’ve studied and if I didn’t then it’s too late, so I might as well calm down and do my best.

I loooooooove goat cheese!!! Glad you do too now :)

  5. Caroline says:

I can’t believe that you didn’t like goat cheese before now! What’s not to love :) at least you like it now. Your spread that your sister made looks absolutely gorgeous and delicious, lucky girl! Good luck on your exam. I definitely get nervous beforehand!
